Introduction
As a parent, finding the right stroller for your little one can be a daunting task. With so many options on the market, it can be difficult to know which one will be the best fit for your family.
We have had our fair share of traveling with (aka weightlifting) strollers and car seats along with an infant.
We have also had an unfortunate number of mishaps with the car seat not showing up at the destination and the gate-checked strollers just going missing — making us wait 4- 5 days for them to arrive at our hotel.
Imagine a very mobile baby, with no stroller, in a foreign land…
…Not the most fun trip for parents.
So for frequent travelers like us, my husband and I decided it was a good option to invest in a stroller that we could lug around easily, and also one that can fold up easily to be put in an overhead compartment inside the aircraft.
After much research, we gave up our UPPA Baby stroller and invested in the Bugaboo Butterfly travel stroller.
And oh my god what a game-changer!
It made the whole travel experience so much smoother and we sat there wondering why we didn’t get this much earlier.
I cannot stress enough how amazing this piece of equipment was during our 12-day Europe vacation
Let me exaggerate because it is worth your money.
Features that make it worth your bucks
This travel stroller:
👉🏼 Weighs only 16 lbs — It’s so light you wouldn’t believe
👉🏼 Fits in most aircraft overhead compartments — It’s better to check once with smaller aircraft models
👉🏼 Can be folded and unfolded with one hand — Helps when you have a baby in the other
👉🏼 Hands-free carrying thanks to the shoulder strap
👉🏼 Just enough storage underneath the seat for essentials
👉🏼 Easy buckling up of the baby — One button snaps open all sides of the belt
👉🏼 Comes with a rain cover that does a splendid job — Not just the seat but the bottom storage compartment is also protected from the rain
👉🏼 Glides through most crowded places easily due to its small size — Easy navigation anywhere
Final Thoughts
If you are a frequent traveler, this travel stroller checks almost all the boxes. And yes, because of its attractive features, it is on the higher end of the price spectrum.
But, if there’s one stroller you are considering that will travel with you and the baby, this one is worth considering.
This stroller was hands-down a family favorite within the first few hours of use.
